University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships are available in most Sussex Schools. They are given to international and EU students who have applied for and been offered a full-time Masters degree at the University of Sussex and who have done well in school and show promise.

Taught full-time Masters programs at the University of Sussex Schools EXCEPT:

• Diplomas and certificates (including PGCE)

• Courses at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS) • Development Studies MA

• MA in Early Years in Education (with Early Years Teacher status)

• Master’s in Globalization, Business, and Development

• Governance, Public Policy, and Development MA

• Power, Participation, and Change in Society MA

• Development and Poverty MA

• Master of Social Work degrees (if receiving a NHS bursary)

• Online courses • Direct-teaching courses in schools • Any master’s degree paid for by the research councils (like ESRC 1+3 funding)

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

• Be classified as ‘overseas’ for fee purposes

• Be taking up a place on a full time Masters degree, starting September 2023

• Be self-financing

• Have excellent academic grades

How to fill out the form:

Scholarship applications open 12 April 2023.

To be considered for the Chancellors International Scholarship, you need to have received and accepted an offer of a place on an eligible Masters at Sussex.
Then, you must complete the separate application form online, after you have received an offer to study at Sussex.
The deadline is 26 April 2023.
