As the eldest of the five Trump children, Donald Trump Jr. is never far from controversy, especially with regards to how openly racist he is. Demonstrating how ridiculously out of touch and ignorant he can be, Trump Jr. recently tweeted how he believed Syrian refugees to be exceptionally similar to that of the sweet and colorful candy, Skittles.
Tweeting, “if I had a bowl of Skittles and I told you just three would kill you, would you take a handful? That’s our Syrian refugee problem,” the internet instantly exploded, with calls that Trump’s comments were extremely offensive. In fact, with a number of people pointing out the number of flaws in such an outlandish comment, it was then discovered that you are actually more likely to die choking on a Skittle than in an actual terrorist attack. Standing by the tweet, Donald and his father continue to make extreme racist remarks with regards to immigrants across the world.
